Turmeric & Ginger Tea


 Boost your immune system with turmeric tea, ginger, lemon and cinnamon. It's easy, delicious, and takes 15 minutes to make.



This tea is packed with antioxidants and vitamins of lemon, cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric. Don't forget to add pepper and some types of fats to boost turmeric absorption. This way you will get the full anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric and ginger.


Turmeric tea
Ingredients:

5 cups of water

2 inches turmeric root, cut into thin slices or grated with the skin

1 to 2 inches of ginger root, cut into thin slices or grated

½ small spoon. cinnamon

1 organic lemon, peeled and squeezed, try not to peel the white part.

A few peppercorns

Coconut Oil

honey

Directione:


Pour 5 cups of water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until it boils. Add turmeric, ginger, pepper, cinnamon and lemon peel and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Do not boil.

Pour the tea through a fine strainer into a large bowl or large measuring cup. Add lemon juice and stir. At this point, you can pour a cup of tea and add 1 tsp. Coconut oil or butter (a type of fat) and 1 teaspoon. From honey, stir and enjoy.

The rest of the tea can be stored in a Mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Every time you heat up some tea, just add a little coconut oil and honey to your meal.
