Steak with mushroom sauce for lunch




Ingredients

- steak: 500 grams (fillet)
- butter: a tablespoon
- olive oil: a tablespoon
- salt: half a teaspoon
- black pepper: half a teaspoon
- mushrooms: 2 cups (fresh / sliced)
- balsamic vinegar: a tablespoon
- Cream: a cup (liquid)
- salt: half a teaspoon
- black pepper: a quarter of a teaspoon

How to prepare

  1. Heat a thick frying pan over a high heat, add oil and butter, season the steak with salt and pepper, and stir for 4 minutes until browned, then remove the steak from the skillet.
  2. In the same saucepan, add mushrooms and vinegar, reduce the heat and stir until wilted, then add the cream, salt and pepper, and stir a little until it begins to boil.
  3. Return the steak and leave it with the cream and mushrooms for 3 minutes, until the flavors are combined.
  4. Serve hot with roast potatoes and sour cream to taste.
