The sweetness of cheese in an easy way. This type of Arabic sweets is served cold and decorated with pistachios and served with sherry (syrup) as desired, try preparing it in your kitchen with my lady's kitchen and enjoy her taste with the family
Ingredients
- flour: a cup
- oil: half a tablespoon
- butter: half a tablespoon
- cream: half a kilo (ready)
- Akkawi cheese: half a kilo (sweetened)
- lemon blossom: 2 teaspoons
- diameter: a cup
- pistachios: a cup
- Shera: to taste (to serve)
How to prepare
- Boil water in a saucepan and put a strainer over the pot.
- Put the akawi cheese in a colander (water bath) and mix it well.
- Add flour to the cheese and mix well.
- The syrup is added to the cheese and flour mixture until the dough is formed.
- Grease the work surface with butter or oil, extend the dough with the rolling pin, and cut the sides to make the dough square.
- Place cream and ground pistachios on the edge of the square and roll the dough in the form of a roll.
- The roller is cut into circular pieces of equal size.
- Dipped the ends of the pieces with pistachios.
- When serving, decorate the pieces with lemon blossom and pour syrup to taste.
